Delete your account

You can request permanent deletion of your The Film Circle member or guest account without reinstalling or signing in to the app.

1. Email [email protected], preferably from the email address registered to your account.
2. Use the subject line The Film Circle account deletion request.
3. State the account email address and whether it is a member or guest account.

For your protection, we may ask for limited additional information to verify that you control the account. Never send your password or payment-card details. We will confirm receipt and normally complete a verified request within 30 days.

Data deleted with your account

We delete or de-identify the account and personal data under our control, including your profile, credentials and active sessions, device push tokens, bookings and tickets, prepaid-visit records, and chat messages. We also remove account-linked application and local email-contact data where it is not subject to a required retention period.

Deleting an account ends access to the member or guest portal. Any unused guest visits and app-only account benefits are also removed and cannot be restored.

Data that may be retained

Limited transaction, tax, accounting, chargeback, fraud-prevention, and legal-compliance records may be retained for up to seven years where reasonably necessary or required by law. These retained records are restricted to those purposes and are not used to keep your app account active.

Encrypted backup copies may persist for up to seven days before they expire through the normal backup cycle. Payment providers may retain transaction records under their own legal obligations and retention policies. Aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer identify you may also be retained.

Delete specific data without deleting your account

You may request deletion of specific optional data, such as profile details or chat messages, while keeping your account. Email [email protected] with the subject The Film Circle data deletion request, identify the account, and describe the data you want removed. Some booking or transaction records may be subject to the retention limits above.
